Ray Acton has over twenty-six years of experience in public accounting and has devoted most of his time to providing tax planning, compliance and consulting services to corporations, tax-exempt organizations and high income individuals.
His industry experience includes dealerships, real estate, timber, private equity funds, financial services, and not-for-profit organizations. Ray also has extensive experience in planning for special situations such as mergers, buy-outs, liquidations, and other business capital transactions
Ray is a 1980 graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Ray Acton began his career with a local accounting firm specializing in financial institutions and, in 1996, joined one of our predecessor firms, Donaldson, Holman & West, P.C.
